CCFS Theoretical Model- Experiential Learning
CCFS incorporates the Experiential Learning Model by David Kolb. Experiential Learning
focuses on learning by doing. It is also the way you solve problems, make decisions, and meet life’s challenges. Learning occurs in any setting and continues throughout your life and the way one approaches learning will impact the way they approach life's experiences.
Experiential Learning process supports performance improvement, learning, and development. The environment of CCFS incorporates strategic learning approaches that infuse daily life encounters and create innovative solutions to clients that are ongoing and applicable in any setting.
Our Charter School
Founded in 2013 by Creative Child and Family Services, a non-profit organization, CCFS Charter High School is located in Riverside County, California. We proudly serve the communities of Eastvale, Corona, and surrounding areas.
Here at CCFS Charter High School, we understand how vital it is for our students to
have access to the right resources and academically inclined programs to
help them build a better tomorrow.
The High School Diploma program is a general education course of study in which each student, according to their academic level, will complete courses required for the
completion of mandated 240 credits.
We provide hope and support to our student population, who are primarily at-risk students in their traditional public school setting. Most students are referred to our program by school counselors, courts, probation departments and/or friends. We also offer programs to meet the needs of those in need of tutoring or additional credits to make up classes.
CCFS Charter High School does not discriminate against creed, nationality, or color, and has students from various cultural backgrounds.
The school staff is trained in helping each student personalize their educational plan to
best meet their needs. Additionally, we have established a partnership with other similar
programs in the State of California, including a program for inmate students who are
unable to attend school due to incarceration.
We are proud to provide educational opportunities for those students whose needs
simply are not met by traditional school environments.
